DB Detailing is a fully mobile service with no fixed retail location; we come to your home or office, so we do not publish a street address.

Information we collect

When you submit a quote request or otherwise interact with our website, we may collect the following:

  • Contact information you provide: name, phone number, email address.
  • Vehicle and service information you provide: service of interest (window tinting, ceramic coating, PPF, interior detail, exterior detail, full detail package), preferred timeline, and vehicle make/model/year (optional).
  • Technical information collected automatically: browser type, device type, referring website, and pages viewed via cookies and similar technologies.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide only for legitimate business purposes related to your inquiry:

  • To contact you about your quote request and schedule your mobile detailing appointment.
  • To answer questions you ask us via phone, email, or SMS.
  • To send you service-related updates about a scheduled or active appointment.
  • To improve our website and the way we serve Hamilton-area drivers.
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations, including Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

SMS messaging program

If you check one or both SMS consent checkboxes on our quote form (non-marketing updates and/or marketing messages), you agree to receive the corresponding SMS text messages from DB Detailing at the phone number you provided. SMS consent is optional and is not required to request a quote or use our services.

Message types you will receive:

  • Quote confirmations and replies from our team.
  • Appointment reminders for scheduled mobile detailing visits.
  • Service status updates during an active appointment.
  • Customer support replies to questions you send us.
  • Occasional promotional messages about seasonal offers or new services.

Eligibility: You must be 18 years of age or older to opt in to SMS messages from DB Detailing.

Message frequency: Varies. If you have an active quote request or appointment, you will typically receive a small number of related messages. If you have also opted in to marketing messages, you may occasionally receive additional messages about seasonal promotions or special offers, independent of any active inquiry.

Costs: Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan.

Opt-out: Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. After you reply STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further marketing or notification messages will be sent.

Carriers: Supported on all major Canadian wireless carriers, including Rogers, Bell, Telus, Fido, Koodo, Freedom Mobile, Virgin Plus, and Chatr. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as our customer relationship management platform (HighLevel), is permitted for the sole purpose of responding to your inquiry.

Sharing of your information

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. The only parties who may process information you provide are:

  • HighLevel (gohighlevel.com), our customer relationship management platform, which receives your form submissions and stores your contact information so our team can respond to your inquiry. HighLevel acts as a data processor; they do not market to you.
  • Vercel, our website hosting provider, which processes basic request data necessary to serve the site.
  • Law enforcement or government authorities, when required by law.

Cookies and tracking

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies for basic analytics and, where installed, advertising measurement (such as the Meta Pixel). Any such tool collects anonymous data about your visit to help us measure how our website performs. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser's settings.

Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information you share with us. Our website is served over HTTPS, and form submissions are encrypted in transit. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data retention

We retain your contact information for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, complete any service you engage us for, and comply with applicable legal obligations. After that period, we delete or anonymize the data.

Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL)

DB Detailing operates in Ontario, Canada, and our commercial electronic messages are sent in accordance with CASL. Promotional SMS messages are sent only to recipients who have given express written consent through the marketing opt-in checkbox (sms_marketing) on our quote form. Non-marketing messages (quote confirmations, appointment reminders, service updates) are sent based on the non-marketing opt-in checkbox (sms_consent) or an existing service relationship, as permitted under CASL. Every commercial message identifies DB Detailing and provides a way to unsubscribe.

Children's privacy

Our website and services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
